50 Watts Books Joins the Bookstore Crawl This Year!
Our new friends in Chestnut Hill are joining the bookstore crawl this year! And while there’s an amazing neighborhood spanning event going on, each shop is doing their own thing as well.
Here’s what 50 Watts is up to, from the shop:
50 Watts Books is offering deep discounts on the books we publish (we are both an indie bookstore and indie press), including the two volumes of our popular Anthropomorphic Japan series of vintage illustrations. We’re also giving away copies of our in-house zine which features 1960s science fiction book covers.
Haven’t scoped out the shop yet? 50 Watts Books unearths unusual art books from around the world (and from Japan in particular). They also carry small press fiction and essays, surreal picture books, graphic design classics, underground comics, risograph zines, flipbooks, and offbeat gift books. Their section of discounted novels and art books is always changing.
